The Knights have concluded another solid season. The 7th grade finished their season 5-3, falling to Riverview in the NE8MS Conference Tournament. The 8th grade finished a 5-3 season with a 30-6 victory over Norwell in their final home game. The 8th grade leaves ENMS with a 14-3 record over two years. Coach Bennett is in his 13th year of teaching and coaching at ENMS, and 11th season as head coach. A 2007 graduate of Central Noble High School, he was a three year starter for the Cougars at guard and center. He is a 2011 graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Social Studies Education. Bennett teaches 8th grade US History at ENMS, coached ENMS track for 10 seasons and chaperones the Washington DC Spring Break trip. He is married to Chelsi, and loves being outdoors, travelling and watching football, basketball and baseball in his free time. A glutton for punishment, Bennett is loyal to the Chicago Bears, Purdue Boilermakers and Chicago Cubs. Brian McNamara- 7th Grade Head Coach
Coach McNamara is a 7th grade science teacher at ENMS. He is in his 18th year teaching and coaching, all with East Noble Schools. He is a graduate of Eastside High School, where he was a standout fullback for the Blazers in the early 1990's. Coach Mac holds a bachelors degree in education from IPFW, and a master's degree from Ball State University. He and his wife, Amy, have three children: Reid, Emma, and Nathan, all who have gone through East Noble schools. This will be Coach Mac's 18th season on the middle school staff as 7th grade head coach and coaching the defensive line. He is a fan of the Oregon Ducks and the New York Jets. Trevor Tipton
Coach Tipton is a football legend in northeast Indiana. A 1975 graduate of East Noble High School, Tipton was a standout on the gridiron, being named KPC Prep of the Year at linebacker in 1974, and still ranking in the top three in career tackles in the football program. He was an All-American linebacker at Taylor University, graduating in 1979. He is retired from a 43-year teaching and coaching career with Central Noble, teaching a variety of topics. Tipton led the Cougars as varsity head coach for 22 seasons, amassing an NECC-record 121 victories, winning four NECC titles and the 2002 2A sectional championship, after which he coached the Indiana All-Stars in the prestigious North-South Game. He has coached the Knights at the high school level for the last four seasons, and will work with running backs and linebackers. He and his wife Deb reside near Rome City, and in his spare time he enjoys the outdoors, Indian artifacts, writing about history, cheering on the Colts and the Packers and spending time with their two grown daughters and five grandsons. Kaleb Cook
Coach Cook is a familiar face to longtime Knights fan. A 2016 graduate of ENHS, Cook played offensive line for the Knights, leading the way as the Knights won the inaugural NE8 championship in 2015. Following his senior year, Cook was honored as an Indiana All-Star. He played Division I college football at Morehead State in Kentucky, where he studied computer science. Cook is in his fifth year with the ENMS football team, coaching the offensive linemen and calling the 7th grade offense. Caden Conley
Coach Conley is also an East Noble Football alumnus. He is a 2020 graduate of East Noble High School, and was a starter on the defensive line for the 2019 NE8 & semi state championship team. He has a year of experience coaching in the ENYFL program, and brings his knowledge of line play to the middle school. He works with tight ends, defensive line and linebackers and will call the 8th grade defense. He works in the trades, and enjoys sports and being outdoors in his free time. Josh Martin
Coach Martin is new to East Noble Football this season. A 2019 graduate of East Noble High School, Martin played football for three seasons. This season he will be coaching wide receivers and defensive backs. He also coaches the ENMS basketball team, and guided the Knights to an NE8MS Conference championship this past winter. He is currently completing college work to become a math teacher. In his free time he enjoys all sports and staying active. |
