Luke amstutz | head coachLuke Amstutz is set to begin his 12th year as the Head Coach of the Knights. In his time at East Noble, he has a 90-34 record and NE8 Championships in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2019 and Sectional Championships in 2019 and 2020, Regional and Semi-State Championships in 2019. The 2019 East Noble State Finalist were the third team in program history to play in the finals. Coach Amstutz was named Offensive Coordinator of the 2017 Indiana North All Star Team.
Before that, he spent 4 years as the Head Coach at Angola High School. In his four years, he led the Hornets to a 26-15 record, and an NECC Championship in 2009. His career record as a Head Coach is 116-49 in his 15 seasons. Coach Amstutz served the East Noble Football program from 2004-2008 in various roles, beginning as a Middle School Coach, JV Coach, and eventually as Defensive Coordinator. He also coached varsity basketball and JV baseball for the Knights, while teaching at Avilla Middle School. Currently Coach Amstutz is the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for East Noble. He is a 2000 graduate of Carroll High School and a 2004 graduate of Tri-State University in Angola where he is a member of the 1000 Point Club as a basketball player. He and his wife Shay, daughters Averi Lynn and Alexxa Riley, and son Maddox Charles reside in LaOtto. Coach Amstutz is an avid Notre Dame fan. Jim abbs | QBs coachJim Abbs has been a volunteer football coach for over twenty-five years at East Noble and in 2015, he received the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Volunteer Service for his coaching. An East Noble graduate, he lettered in football, basketball and track and was the first person to be inducted into both East Nobles' academic and athletic halls of fame.
Jim went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and as quarterback guided the Falcons to two conference championships and into the national playoffs. After his senior season, he received the NAIA Coaches National Scholar Athlete Award and has also been inducted into the River Falls athletic hall of fame. He then attended the Washburn University School of Law and is now the Chief public defender in Noble County. In 2009, he received the highest honor a public defender can receive in Indiana. Jim and his wife Jan have been married for over forty years and they have one son Bryce, an engineer, a daughter-in law, Golda and granddaughters, Ailene and Journi. They both are volunteer firefighters, fire medics and master rescue scuba divers. In their spare time, they enjoy their farm, their dogs and horses along with dancing, martial arts and traveling around the world. |
Rick hulett | Defensive Line coachCoach Hulett is a 1972 graduate of East Noble High School. He attended Ball State University on a football scholarship where he played for the Cardinals in Muncie Indiana. He and his wife Kristine have been married for over 40 years and have two children, Nick and Andrea and two grandchildren, Graham and Gracen Pyle.
Rick began coaching High School football in Byron, Michigan in 1982 where he coached Offensive Line and Linebackers for 8 years. In 1988 he and his family moved to Florida where he coached Linebackers and was the Defensive Coordinator at Tavares High School for 10 years. He then went to Mt. Dora High School and took the position of Defensive Coordinator and Linebacker coach for 5 years. His next coaching position was at Weber International an NAIA college in Babson Park Florida for 2 years where he served as Defensive Line Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. His final coaching experience before moving back to Indiana was in Eustis Florida where he served as Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Line coach for 2 years. After moving back to Kendallville Coach Hulett became the Director of Golf Operations at Noble Hawk Golf Links. |
Ryan Robertson | Defensive CoordinatorRyan Robertson is in his 11th coaching year with East Noble football. Ryan is the Defensive Coordinator, and coaches Defensive Backs. Coach Robertson is a sixth grade teacher at East Noble Middle School. As an East Noble Alumni, he earned his Elementary Education degree at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana; where he played DB from 2008-2012. While finishing up his degree, he was on the Taylor University football coaching staff. In 2019 Coach Robertson was named to the Staff of the North Indiana All Star Team.
Coach Robertson is an Indianapolis Colts, Indianapolis Pacers, and Purdue University fan. In his free time he loves to hunt, fish, go boating, and go camping. Coach Robertson lives in Kendallville with his wife Ashley and their daughters Ryley, Reagan, and Reba. |
Trevor Tipton | Running Backs CoachTrevor is a 1975 graduate of East Noble High School where he played football, baseball and wrestled. The Pop Guymon award winner took his skills to Taylor University, starting as a linebacker and as a catcher for four years. Trevor was selected as NAIA Player of the Year and All-American at the linebacker position his senior year at Taylor. He is a member of both the East Noble Athletic Hall of Fame and the Taylor University Athletic Hall of Fame.
Trevor will begin his 44th consecutive year coaching football. He spent 22 years as the head varsity coach at Central Noble. Coaching baseball, track and golf are included in Coach Tipton’s resume. Currently, Trevor is enjoying retirement from teaching while spending time coaching and being with his family. Trevor and his wife, Debbie, recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Their daughters, Drew Tipton Conrad and Jordan Tipton Harris are both East Noble graduates. They are blessed with five grandsons: Hugh Conrad, Trevor Conrad, Keene Conrad, Tripp Harris, and Quinn Harris. |
Bret Sible | Offensive CoordinatorCoach Sible enters his 8th year with the East Noble Football program as a coach, now serving as the program's Offensive Coordinator. A 2014 graduate from East Noble High School played four years for the program, two of which under the direction of Coach Amstutz. Bret currently is beginning his first year teaching 6th grade math, science, and social studies at East Noble Middle School.
Coach Sible currently lives in a Avilla. Also a huge Notre Dame fan, as well as Chicago Cubs fan and enjoys playing golf, softball, and fishing. |
Zach Aldrich | Linebackers CoachCoach Aldrich comes into his 8th year of coaching High School after having coached ENMS for the past 3 seasons. He is the Freshmen Defensive Coach and coaches Varsity Linebackers. Zach played defensive end and OLB at Central Noble from 2004-2008. Currently he works for Noble County Disposal and lives in Kendallville with his wife Lacey and children.

jOE pASZTOR | fRESHMAN oFFENSEJoe Pasztor is entering his first year with the Knights, calling the Freshman offense, after four years with Central Noble. Joe is a graduate of Prairie Heights High School. He is married to his wife Bethany and together they have four children.

Matt Brian I Defensive Backs CoachMatt Brian starts his 9th year on the East Noble staff after serving one year as an assistant coach for the East Noble Middle School program. He will be a defensive backs coach and the defensive signal caller for the freshmen team. He is a 2009 graduate of Mattawan High School (Kalamazoo, MI) where he was a three sport athlete playing football, basketball, and lacrosse. After high school, he went on to play college football at Manchester University as an inside linebacker, where graduated in 2013 with a degree in secondary education life science (B.S.). He teaches biology and environmental science here at East Noble High School.
In his spare time, Coach Brian enjoys traveling, boating, and spending time with his friends and family. He currently lives in Fort Wayne, where he is an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts, Detroit Redwings, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Indians, and THE Ohio State University! |
Tye Bloomfield | Defensive Line CoachTye Bloomfield starts his 13th year on the East Noble Staff. Coach Bloomfield is a 2004 graduate of East Noble High School where he was a three sport athlete in Football, Wrestling and Track. He was also a Co-Captain of the Knights 2003 State Runner-Up Team. After graduating from East Noble he attended the University of Saint Francis where he played football and majored in Elementary and Special Education. Coach Bloomfield started his teaching and coaching career with the Knights in the fall of 2008 and coached through 2015. During his initial stint with the Knights Coach Bloomfield coached multiple All State defensive lineman as well as several all state women’s throwers for the Lady Knight’s track program.
Tye and his wife Sylvia along with children Claire, Amelia and Quenton reside in Avilla. Coach Bloomfield is a fan of the Colts, Cubs and anything Notre Dame. He is also an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing and visiting our national and state parks. |
Cody Wait | kickers CoachCody Wait starts his 4th season with the Knights helping with the strength and conditioning program and kickers. Coach Wait is the head coach for the Lady Knights Track and Field team where before he was an assistant since 2013. Since 2017 he has taught physical education, strength and health at East Noble High School.
Coach Wait is a graduate of Central Noble where he played linebacker and offensive line under Coach Tipton. He was a team captain and named All NECC First Team Linebacker twice. He was also the team captain of his track team his junior and senior years. After high school, he attended IPFW and then Taylor University to finish his degree in physical education. He resides in Avilla and in his free time loves to ride his bike, play video games, spend time with friends and will never miss a Colorado State Football or Nashville Predators game. |
Jared Delagrange | Offensive Line CoachJared Delagrange is entering his 3rd season coaching at East Noble. He assists Kristian Jarrett in coaching the offensive line and is a JV assistant coach. Jared played high school football and graduated from Woodlan in 2012. He graduated from CCCB in 2016 and is currently the East Noble Campus Life Director.

Kristian Jarrett | oFFENSIVE lINE CoachKristian Jarrett enters his 12th year with the Knights. Kristian is a graduate of Prairie Heights High School ('05), then played college football at Kentucky Christian University ('09). After coaching at Lexington Christian Academy for 2 years, he and his family came to Kendallville, where his wife Samantha is a Technology Coach at East Noble High School. Coach J works as the Communications Lead for Youth For Christ Northern Indiana.
Coach Jarrett is a Notre Dame and Chicago Bears fan, and his hobbies include running, playing ultimate frisbee, and spending time with his family. |
dYLAN hUNLEY | wIDE rECIEVERSDylan Hunley starts his 1st year on the East Noble Staff. Coach Hunley is a 2017 graduate of East Noble High School where he was a three sport athlete in Football, Baseball and Basketball. After graduating from East Noble he attended the University of Saint Francis where he played football and majored in Computer Information Systems and as well as a Masters in Business Administration. During his career with East Noble, he was a 2x All State Receiver for the Knights and an All Conference receiver at the University of Saint Francis.
Dylan and his wife Payton currently reside in Kendallville with their two dogs Riley and Scooter. Coach Hunley is a fan of the Colts, Reds and Notre Dame football. His hobbies include playing golf, hanging out with friends, and playing beach volleyball. |
MARY cUSON | Athletic trainerMary Cuson is the Parkview Sports Medicine athletic trainer assigned to East Noble High School. She is beginning her first year with the Knights. She has been a certified athletic trainer for 15 years. She grew up in Northwest Indiana, and after graduating from high school she attended Purdue University where she got her bachelor’s in science and athletic training. After her time at Purdue, she attended The University of Toledo where she worked as a graduate assistant with softball, tennis, and swim and dive while she earned her master’s degree in exercise science. She has spent the last 13 years working in high school athletics, the last 10 years with Parkview Sports Medicine. She lives in Fort Wayne with her husband and two sons.
