East Noble Middle School FOOTBALLENMS Football 2022
The 2022 season brought great success for the 8th grade team. The Knights rattled off eight straight victories before losing a 36-33 heartbreaker in the NE8MS Conference Championship Game to the DeKalb MS Barons to finish their season with an 8-1 record and as conference runners-up. Over two years of playing ENMS football, this class had a 14-3 record. Thank you for two years of hard work, dedication and great memories 8th grade! Good luck at the high school! The 7th grade beat Harding MS 21-13 in their final game on October 11. They finish their season 2-6 and in 7th place in the NE8MS Conference. They will look to work hard in the offseason to improve and get stronger and faster. ENMS Coaching StaffMatt Bennett - 8th Grade Head Coach
Coach Bennett is in his 11th year of teaching and coaching at ENMS, and 9th season as head coach. A 2007 graduate of Central Noble High School, he was a three year starter for the Cougars at guard and center. He is a 2011 graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Social Studies Education. Bennett teaches 8th grade US History at ENMS, coached ENMS track for 10 seasons and chaperones the Washington DC Spring Break trip. He is married to Chelsi, and loves being outdoors, travelling and watching football, basketball and baseball in his free time. A glutton for punishment, Bennett is loyal to the Chicago Bears, Purdue Boilermakers and Chicago Cubs. Brian McNamara- 7th Grade Head Coach
Coach McNamara is a 7th grade science teacher at ENMS. He is in his 16th year teaching and coaching, all with East Noble Schools. He is a graduate of Eastside High School, where he was a standout fullback for the Blazers in the early 1990's. Coach Mac holds a bachelors degree in education from IPFW, and a master's degree from Ball State University. He and his wife, Amy, have three children: Reid, Emma, and Nathan, all who have gone through East Noble schools. This will be Coach Mac's 16th season on the middle school staff as 7th grade head coach, calling 7th grade defense and coaching the defensive line. He is a fan of Oregon football and the New York Jets. Scott Kabrich
Coach Kabrich will be calling the 7th grade offense this fall. He is a graduate of Ball State University, and has been teaching at East Noble for 24 years, currently at ENMS teaching 7th grade science. Coach Kabrich brings 18 years of coaching experience to the team, having coached at KMS and ENMS in the late 1990's and early 2000's, coaching several players who went on to be Indiana All-Stars as varsity players. He also leads the spring break trip to Washington DC, teaches SCUBA classes and lives and dies with the Indianapolis Colts. He and his wife Kim have two children, Meagan and Jackson, both students at East Noble. Rory Field
Coach Field has been teaching language arts and social studies at ENMS for 8 years, and has coached football for five of those years. He is a graduate of Northridge HS, where he played football, and Bowling Green State University. This year he will be coaching defensive backs and calling the 8th grade defense. He and his wife Sara are parents to Collin and Elli, both students at East Noble. He cheers for the Ohio State Buckeyes and Washington Commanders on his fall weekends. Tye Bloomfield
Coach Bloomfield has been a staple with East Noble Football for many years. He is a 2004 graduate of East Noble HS, and was a two-way starter forthe 2003 NHC & semi state championship team. He is a graduate of St. Francis University, where he played football. Bloomfield has coached the Knights at different levels for many years, focusing on defensive line. This is his first year with ENMS football. He and his wife Sylvia had three children, all in teh East Noble school district. Kaleb Cook
Coach Cook is a familiar face to longtime Knights fan. A 2016 graduate of ENHS, Cook played offensive line for the Knights, leading the way as the Knights won the inaugural NE8 championship in 2015. Following his senior year, Cook was honored as an Indiana All-Star. He played Division I college football at Morehead State in Kentucky, where he studied computer science. Cook is in his third year with the ENMS football team, coaching the offensive linemen. |
